Editing Samples

Two of the following files contain track-change edits I made for Mormon Insights articles. The third was for BYU Magazine and contains handwritten edits.
"How Tolerent is Too Tolerent?"

This article was meant to highlight an address given by an LDS church leader. The article needed to be about 250 words. The audience was for young adults struggling to know how to defend their values while still promoting tolerance. Edits were centered around grammar and concision.

"Car as a Mask"

The following is a piece written for the "My Message" section of Mormon Insights. The audience for this piece was young adult members of the LDS church. The edits below exhibit substantive edits I suggested to the author. Close to all the suggestions were implemented.

"BYU Connections with Prophets and Apostles"

This was a short blurb for BYU Magazine. My edits were done in pencil, and all of the edits the author accepted are highlighted in pink.
